The HW77 is a workhorse of a rifle but it spent more time than it should just sitting on my wall. My other rifles are easier & more convenient to use so this the ugly duckling HW77 stayed at home.
The beautiful Craftsman Vit stock has breathed fresh life into my old gun & I've just spent the weekend getting to explore its new curves & re-learn how to shoot a springer. I shall be keeping an eye out at Craftsman for when something tempting comes along for the HW100. I need more bling :-)
The purchase was super easy & delivery from Croatia to England took about 10 days. There was a small delay at customs but happily no issues & no additional import duty. It's a fabulous new stock & it came with an excellent service.
I have had x3 Hw100kt stocks and x1 BSA R10 Mk2 stock.
Beautifully made and first class communication and service.

Hi the stock arrived in perfect condition. Well packaged with plenty of wrapping. Stock fitted the action like a glove and everything looks amazing. Went up the range today and the stock was well liked. Adjusted everything and zeroed. Shoots really nice little heavier but to be expected as not so much timber milled out under cylinder. Love it big time. Now to practice and get to know it. From order to arriving in Plymouth Devon just 11 days.

Great stock feels and looks fantastic , post was very quick I would recommend .
Holes off on forearm had to open up other than that I like stock improved my shooting a lot nice finish wish they made butt pad length adjustable for us tall guys would definitely buy again if needed

About the holes on the forearm — actually this is not a manufacturing issue, because every stock is always test-fitted on a rifle before shipping. On the HW77/97 the cocking lever is movable and sometimes needs slight adjustment before installation. TX200 rifles do not have this issue.
Luckily it’s not a serious problem and can be adjusted very easily. I only wish you had contacted us when you had the difficulty — we would have helped immediately.
Regarding adjustable butt pad length for taller shooters — those systems increase the production cost quite a lot, and most customers do not need them, so we try to keep the price reasonable for everyone.

I have been waiting for one year to order a new stock for my 48, as they keep on selling out. Finally received the stock in perfect condition, very carefully wrapped and without any shipping damage. The finish and fit are flawless, beautiful woodgrain perfection. I was very nervous as I had to add the QD swivel mounts myself, but fortunately this went well. I hope that Craftsman Vit might consider adding this as an option for future customers. 10/10 would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone searching for a durable, high-quality and beautiful enhancement for their rifle.

Losing a star is too harsh- definitely a 4.5 plus stars.
Ordering and delivery was straightforward, arriving well packaged and protected.
The stock is beautiful to look at and functions well with smooth operation of cheek riser, butt plate and hamster.
The hand finish in comparison to the FORM Chieftain is not as good in relation to both finish and smoothness. This in no way detracts from the looks or functionality…..

About the finish — we actually can make the stock perfectly smooth and “glass-like.” But over time we received feedback from many shooters that an ultra-smooth finish removed the natural feel of the wood. Some even said it started to look and feel more like plastic rather than laminate with visible structure and character.
Because of that, we tried to keep a balance between smoothness and preserving the natural texture and feel of the wood. Still, your feedback is very valuable to us and helps improve future production.

I like my first Vit stock so much I bought a second one for my HW97K. Same nice balance! This is made of walnut and has a front riser which I removed. The trigger reach is much shorter so I removed my Rowan setback trigger and went with the stock trigger.

This is now my 3rd Craftman Vit stock, that tells you a lot about the confidence I have in the workmanship of their products. The stocks fit like a glove, are very ergonomic and are a joy to use. The stock looks great in the pics but not as good as when you get your hands on it, absolutely gorgeous stock, fit and finish are superb. I received my custom stock today and I'm genuinely impressed with the level of craftsmanship. The quality of the laminated wood, the precision of the machining and the overall finish are exceptional. From the moment I unpacked it, it was clear that an enormous amount of care and attention to detail went into its creation.
The laminated Mountain Camo pattern looks absolutely beautiful in person, and every contour of the stock is perfectly shaped. The finish is flawless and gives the wood a deep, rich appearance while still feeling extremely durable and pratical.
The ergonomics are excellent, the grip feels natural and secure, and the overall geometry of the stock makes ir very comfortable to the shoot.
Another aspect that trully stands out is the quality of the adjustment mechanisms. All the mechanical components operate incredibly smoothly and precisely. Everything is solid. This attention to detail makes it very eady to fine tune the rifle between different shooting positions.
Fitting the stock to my hw97 was straightforward and the fit is excellent. Once assembled, the rifle feels perfectly balanced and extremely comfortable to handle.

It took me two years to make up my mind on this product, I am glad that I finally took the plunge. The stock is amazing and fit like a glove. I only have to add a Rowan trigger to it as the pistol grip changed my finger reach to the trigger blade. Now the geometry feels perfect!
