First the quality of the design visually and the fit and finish of the woodwork are OUTSTANDING. I'm not sure where the company got its stock proportions from, but a common standard for the length of pull on a rifle stock is 13.5 inches, my FT stock as supplied measures 11.5 inches and when shouldering it I feel like its a stock meant for much smaller people. I did add nearly 2 inches with spacers and the length of pull is MUCH better, however now the cheek rest is too far forward. I expressed this to the company and was told "One stock can't fit all people". Using industry standards that have MANY years behind them for standard proportions means the product will be generally comfortable for MOST people, and small adjustments can and will be made. 2 inches seems excessive to me. It is a very pretty piece of wood, just not very comfortable as delivered. I will need to design and 3D print an extension to bring the cheek riser back some for me to consider this a workable solution. Not what I expected for the money if I'm honest. I also would have expected a hamster rail in the forearm for a product sold as "FT" ready. I guess I'll need to add that myself as well. Thank you for your detailed feedback. The quality and finish of the stock are exactly as designed, and the LOP (length of pull) matches the factory standard as stated in the product description. If you had specific fit requirements, these should have been indicated at the time of ordering and the description carefully reviewed.
The cheek rest and stock proportions follow standard FT dimensions, which are comfortable for most shooters. Any additional adjustments, such as adding spacers or modifying the cheek riser, are considered custom modifications and were not included.
Please also note that this model does not come with a UIT/hamster rail, as clearly mentioned in the product description.
